How nostalgic! I got this kit from a Japanese builder who was getting out of the hobby, and was one of my first GKs back when I started.
Karera was a character was one of the Sogna’s Viper series of games. These games have multiple stories and characters, and Karera’s one involve her getting summoned by this nerd dude and her succubus nature basically means the guy can’t get any rest… anyway it’s one of those silly hentai stories. But Karera is a somewhat likeable character, and her demonic outfit is pretty neat.
Back to the kit. The special thing about this kit is that it comes in a big Japanese video box - probably some silly stunt to get attention? The kit itself is pretty nicely sculpted in many ways - her twisty body is quiet exquisite, and the pose is not very common even to this day. The main problem is her head, which has a way too big forehead, and the cape, which obscures her back.
I started this kit like 6 or 7 years ago. Back then, I didn’t really like the cape obscuring her back and decided to build without it. I got distracted after a while and she got dropped until recently. Now I don’t mind the cape as much - though I did ponder making a semi-transparent one for her. But after adjusting the position of the cape so that it flows a bit, her back is still visible, and I think it adds to the character.

To avoid the big forehead I added some hair to hide it. I also repositioned her tail and cape a bit. The base is made from seriously discounted santa hats after X’mas. While Karera’s hair is actually aquaish green-blue, I decided to go for more green since it seem t blend with her purple outfit and the red cape better.
